Hi! I’m Kirsten
Thanks so much for your interest in Flock Effect.
So why did I start it? And why do I think we can help?
First up, marketing isn’t easy. Particularly today. I’ve been a marketer for 15 years now. I’ve been a senior member at some of the best agencies in Australia and client side at iSelect in a fast paced performance driven culture where marketing was at its core.
I’ve worked for Clemenger BBDO Proximity for most of my agency days. So great creative that genuinely works is what I’m passionate about. The Proximity part of that agency name means that I’m trained to think as a direct marketer and the performance demands of marketing. The value of thinking about the total customer experience and understanding the role of marketing…a given. The BBDO part means I love and appreciate great creative work. And most importantly, I’ve been trained how to help make it happen.
Pre my client life, I thought that with my agency experience I got it. I was intelligent and intuitive enough to sympathise with what happened client side. Not so. Going to iSelect was the best career move. It gave me invaluable perspective and taught me how to thrive, survive and ultimately perform. I was at iSelect for 5 years. My role upon leaving was Group Executive - Marketing.
Why Flock Effect?
Flock Effect is for businesses of any shape or size that want to benefit from that perspective. Whether it be as an advisor, coach, contract or short-term project basis we can help on the terms that best suit you. I get approached by clients as well as agencies.
I know what it’s like to need help from a trusted set of hands TODAY. And equally, I’ve personally benefited from having a coach in my corner.
I started Flock Effect because I think there’s a gap in the market for genuine advice and great help. Where you don’t need or want a recruiter, an agency or consulting firm. Lean. Fast. We just get on with it.
I have two gorgeous daughters Cleo & Florence, and an amazing husband, Luke. If you play with the first few letters of our names you get the word Flock. I started the business for them. So it seemed like an obvious choice.
A business name that seemed meant to be if you consider that all marketing should be intended to create a Flock Effect!
