The Marketing Residency
Direct counsel, mentoring and capability development for ambitious marketers who want to think bigger, lead with confidence and accelerate their careers.
Delivered in small cohorts, with direct 1:1 access to Kirsten throughout.
Marketing careers rarely come with a roadmap.
One day you’re delivering campaigns. The next you’re managing stakeholders, influencing senior leaders, leading agencies and making decisions that impact the business.
Most marketers learn these skills through trial and error.
They don’t have a mentor sitting beside them. They don’t always have a manager with time to teach them. And they often find themselves figuring things out as they go.
Over time, that creates a different kind of gap.
The Marketing Residency is designed to help bridge that gap, building the confidence, commercial acumen and leadership capability needed to thrive in modern marketing roles, and the commercial impact that comes with it.
The Marketing Residency provides practical coaching and mentoring designed specifically for marketers navigating increasingly complex roles.
This isn’t generic career coaching. Call it counsel: straight, experienced guidance from someone who has actually done the job, not a coaching framework applied to your career from the outside.
It’s strategic marketing development grounded in the realities of modern business.
The program runs as a small group cohort, so you’re developing alongside other ambitious marketers, not on your own. Alongside the group, you also get direct 1:1 access to Kirsten, so individual challenges get individual attention too.
Through a combination of counsel, group learning, mentoring and real-world application, participants develop the skills that often determine long-term success:
The focus is not simply on helping you perform better today.
It’s about helping you become the marketer your future career, and the business you work for, will require.
ABOUT
Kirsten Craven is the founder of Flock Effect and a senior marketing leader with extensive experience across strategy, leadership, brand, agency management and commercial marketing advisory.
Over more than two decades, she’s worked agency side, client side and in senior leadership positions. The Marketing Residency gives participants direct access to that experience, and direct counsel from someone who has actually sat in the seat.
Rather than learning through theory alone, you’ll gain practical guidance from someone who understands the realities of the role and the skills needed to succeed within it.
WHY JOIN THE PROGRAM
001
Kirsten isn’t a professional coach working from a generic framework. She gives the same direct counsel she’d give a peer, or someone in her team, grounded in two decades of agency side and client side experience, not a script.
002
This isn’t generic leadership coaching. Every conversation is anchored in the realities of modern marketing roles, from agency management and stakeholder influence through to strategic planning and commercial decision-making.
003
Participants bring real challenges, projects and opportunities into the program. The focus is on practical application, not theoretical discussion.
004
Marketing success requires more than technical knowledge. The program develops the commercial thinking, communication skills and leadership capability that help marketers create meaningful impact.
005
The Marketing Residency runs as a small group cohort, so you’re learning and solving real problems alongside other marketers navigating similar challenges. That’s not a trade-off against individual attention, you still get direct 1:1 access to Kirsten. It’s a genuine advantage: building a real network of senior marketing peers, and learning how to lean on others, is exactly the kind of skill senior marketers need.
